Sneak A Beak
This is a complete painting from a sketch I did over a year ago, it has been waiting for me to finalize it. This show also was a good push to create a series of work that links the themes, colors and style. I enjoyed looking up a mix of esoteric and old astrology illustrations that I added in between the clouds.
I sneaked in a bit of Salvador Dali influence in the hanging pyramids, as more for me a show of respect and appreciation to his work, that has been a great influence since I can remember

This is The Cosmic Egg, the First Born,called Eros (‘Love’), the Universal Being, the creator of all individual expressions of life Eros shines as a great Light—the Light of the Universe.This is from another painting I did couple years ago (more links and story behind it on this previous post)

Heart Locker
The main inspiration came from the next piece you will see below, music is a great inspiration while I do my work and I wanted to dedicate one piece to it. I loved adding the old decorative elements and as well as basically just painting an object on its own. It might be to small to notice, but it supposed to be a microphone in the middle top of the locker, with the sun shining behind it. And the trumpet and bass bellow also comes from the next piece. The last bit I added to this was the 'Sun' stripes coming behind the locker, as its been a focus of mine to paint thinking a lot on the source of 'Light' to find out how to shade and get depth in an image . I thought it fitted well and also it looked to plain floating in space on its own.
